Part-Time Events Coordinator/ Brand Ambassador

Bilder Inc. is an exceptional company; we are looking for exceptional people to join our growing team in the Kitchener/Waterloo area. We are looking for a Brand Ambassador with Events Co-ordinating skills to represent our brand at St. Jacob's Farmers Market.

Summary of Role:

Our Brand Ambassadors hold a very important role. They are the face of Bilder Inc., and often are responsible for making first-contact with our clientele and community, ensuring their first-impressions are positive and memorable.

Brand Ambassadors work at events that Bilder Inc. attends. Brand Ambassadors are generally responsible for introducing and educating prospective clients about Bilder Inc., booking appointments, collecting information from leads, and entering information into our database.

As a Brand Ambassador you will represent Bilder Inc. at St. Jacob's Farmer's Market on Thursday and Saturday from 7am to 3:30pm throughout the year and additionally, Tuesdays from 7am to 3:30pm throughout the summer months. In the off-season, you would work at various off-site events, one day per week.

As a valued part of our team, you will be additionally in-charge of co-ordinating our off site events by scheduling and co-ordinating events with team personnel and managers.

20-25 hours of work per week depending on season.

Position Must Haves:

  • Savvy computer administration skills (i.e. Microsoft Office, Internet, Mobile, Spreadsheets).

  • Self-motivated to improve performance.

  • Exceptional attention to details.

  • Professional appearance and communication style.

  • Works well independently and when leading a team.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Fluent in oral and written English.

  • Physically able to stand for long periods of time.

  • Physically able to setup a small display independently and assist with setting up larger displays.

  • Reliable transportation.

Position Nice to Haves:

  • 2+ years of sales experience.

  • 2+ years of administration experience.

  • Experience related to professional organizing or interior design.

  • Some woodworking experience or knowledge.
